Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.”
America has truly been a blessed nation. Now, that blessing is not so evident. Trouble can be seen everywhere – from the leaders in the highest places, to the streets, to the average home.
Thee was a time when God’s people would be found in church on Sundays. The neighbors knew who the Christians were because they tried to please God. No, they weren’t perfect – but they knew where they should be when the church doors opened.
Now, it almost seems that there may be more “Christians” out of church than in it on any given Sunday. Yet those same people will say they want revival. What good would it do them, since revival is about Christians getting right with God and recommitting themselves to doing what God wants?
So, Christian friend, are you one of those Christians that helps God to want to bless America – or judge it? Where will you be today?
