Supposedly, some “official” reports are soon to be released which are said to answer the question about whether aliens really exist and are they already in our midst?

Some current movies address this issue. Several TV shows have built their story lines around the existence of advanced civilizations – as well as more primitive ones. The number of such shows and movies is rapidly increasing. These ideas are all based on the “theory” of evolution, which assumes that what we have on earth has also occurred elsewhere. Of course, this theory completely leaves out God and the Bible.

Despite what the media says, it is important to understand what the Bible says about these things. To answer the question briefly: Yes, there are aliens here – beings that did not originate on this planet.

The Bible calls them demons and fallen angels. They are created beings that once lived in Heaven, and they were perfect. Rebellion against God caused them to be removed from Heaven and placed on earth.

The Bible reveals that their continued rebellion against God thrives on this planet, being led by a powerful being called Satan. They learned that they cannot hurt God, so they aim to destroy what matters to God here. God wants people to be saved from sin and live forever. Satan and his forces work hard to deceive people so that as many as possible will go to Hell – with him.

To accomplish this task, his primary tool is deceit. Revelation 12:9 says: “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

To combat his lies, God has given us His Bible. All truth from God is found in Jesus Christ and the Bible (John 14:6). It exposes the lies of the “alien” forces bent on opposing God. One of the Devil’s lies is that people think they are alright with God just because they have a Bible and go to church. Unfortunately, it is not true.

Was Jesus Death Preventable? https://101info.org/2026/04/17/was-jesus-death-preventable/ https://101info.org/2026/04/17/was-jesus-death-preventable/#respond Fri, 17 Apr 2026 11:30:00 +0000 https://101info.org/?p=244 Read More »]]> Matthew 26:52-54 “Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?”

In the above verses, there are several things that can be seen that must be considered to answer the above question. They are:

1. Jesus had earlier asked the disciples if they had swords. They declared that they had two.

Here, after Peter cut off a servant’s ear, Jesus tells him to put the sword away. This indicates that they could have fought, and with miraculous power – could have resisted this mob. But Jesus was not interested in their resistance for His sake – or anyone else’s.

Jesus did not say this because He was a pacifist. No, later He will come and take vengeance on those gathered against Him at Armageddon and then remove all unbelievers!

2. Jesus challenges them with a thought: “Don’t you know that I could even now call 12 legions of angels to protect Me and destroy My enemies?”

This was more than wishful thinking. The wording makes it clear that even at this moment He could have called them – and they would have come. It must be remembered that in Hezekiah’s day, one angel killed 185,000 soldiers in a single night! He refused to call them that He might go to the Cross as planned!

3. Jesus neither encouraged a riot against those arresting Him, nor did He call any angels. Why? Because He came to die for the sins of the world. He came to save men, not to destroy them.

Because He loved the world and was not willing that any should go to Hell (John 3:16), He made salvation easy. He simply wants people to turn from their sins (disobedience to God as given in the Bible), and trust on Christ to save them when they ask Him to: “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).
