Are You Watching?

Mark 13:32, 33, 35 “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is… (vs. 35) Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh,”

It could happen any day now. Many people are looking for “signs” of His coming – but there are none. The Bible does not give any signs for the Rapture. The signs mentioned in the Bible all point to His Second Coming, which occurs seven years after the Rapture.

What can be seen is evidence that we seem to be seeing the “shadows” of things on the horizon that point to the Tribulation. Personally, I believe the Rapture could occur any day now.

Christians need to be careful not to be looking for “signs” because it may mean you are not ready to go. Instead of looking for signs, we should just be ready to go – today! We should be actively serving Him with all  our hearts as He tells us to while we wait.

Since no one knows the day nor the hour, what is keeping you from being ready today? Are you going to church regularly, tithing, witnessing, getting victory over sin, etc.? While we are still here, we ought to be watching and praying – and seeking to take others with us when we go. Remember that your rewards in Heaven (not your salvation) depend on your faithfulness to His commands.
