Thanks much for the welcome. My name is Stephen and I've been a believer for about 43 yrs and have been in full-time mission work since 1981. I teach and preach daily, among other duties. I consider myself just a worker for the LORD, and am always on the lookout for a place to fellowship with like-minded believers, as The OLd Pathways appears to provide.

I'm involved with other forums and serve as a moderator on one, but am very concerned about the argumentative, contentious nature of at least the virtual side of the church these days, where it seems nothing is settled and everything is subject to debate and human reason. The basics are hardly visible anymore. And I'm concerned about the processes underlying the plethora of new Bible versions and dishonest way they are often defended.
I will stop rambling here. I"ll likely be doing more reading than posting here, but when the Spirit moves...
