Psalm 30:5 “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
As believers, there are times when we may experience God’s anger, or His silence. We do not feel close at all to Him, and may be aware of some sin that has caused the problem.
The good news is that His seeming absence or anger will not last long – if we turn from that sin. All we need to do is to confess it and seek to forsake it, and He will forgive.
In other situations, we may be going through a trial. It may bring tears to our eyes and hurt. It could be physical or emotional pain. The good news, though, is that it will not endure forever – not for the believer.
God never allows us to suffer any more than will accomplish His Divine goal for us. Yes, it could ultimately mean cancer, or death. For the believer, though, death is just a Door into the eternal presence of God. There is nothing sorrowful about that – because there is no sorrow, sickness, or pain in His presence.
When we please Him, we know it. This enables us to desire to continue to do so. He gives us quality of life, and we know and experience that peace that God alone can give.
When our temporary pain is over, there will be joy, along with a bright new day. God gives us seasons of experiences. There is relief coming, and you will be glad when it does. Praise His Name!
